You are here: Home > News > Climate Change Training - East of England Planning and climate change training in the East of EnglandCAG Consultants are currently running a series of training workshops on Planning and Climate Change for local authority officers and councillors in the East of England, with the Town & Country Planning Association and LDA Design. The initial introductory sessions for elected members and senior managers have been very successful and well attended. Further sessions will be run over the next few months – details are available on www.sustainabilityeast.org.uk. The sessions explore how the planning process can contribute to climate change mitigation and adaptation. They emphasise the opportunities presented by the Localism agenda and draft National Planning Policy Framework, and the link between climate change work and other local priorities.
